The cost to have a dog or cat spayed or neutered on the SUV is $35.00 and includes a complimentary rabies vaccination (if needed) and microchip (if wanted).

Payments will be made in advance no less than 3 days in advance.

Payment options will following after registering.

You DO NOT have a confirmed appointment until your payment is paid. Payments will NOT be refunded for any clients that NO show for their appointment or cancel less then less 36 hours in advance. Your payment will be a donation to the AHS or used to sponsor another client experiencing financial hardships.

The only refund you will receive if for some reason your animal is turned away that day. Waiting list BRING cash, you will not pay in advance.

If all slots are FULL please keep checking back as anything with animals can change at any moment.

You can also email me with your information and I can let you know if something on the waiting list opens and/or notify you in advance when the next clinic will be held in 2014.

A maximum of TWO PETS PER HOUSEHOLD may be scheduled per event.  YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP FOR ONE DAY - NOT BOTH! 

The clinic can only accommodate two dogs between the weights of 50 and 65 lbs. If you are the third on a same day that is booked, if available you can move to the next day or will be moved to the waiting list.

All clinics are by APPOINTMENT only, walk ups will NOT be accepted. Because the SUV program offers a high-volume spay/neuter environment and spacing is limited, the following are NOT ELIGIBLE for spay/neuter services through the SUV program:

We cannot accept:

In heat, lactating, or pregnant animals
Dogs 6 years of age or older
Cats 10 years of age or older
Female dogs under 4 months old
Dogs weighing over 65 pounds
Cats weighing under 3.5 pounds
Trapped,feral, or aggressive animals
Animals with pre-existing conditions
Brachycephalic breeds (ie: English Bulldogs)

BOTH TESTICLES ON MALES MUST BE DROPPED - THEY CAN NOT ACCOMODATE cryptorchid males

Check-in times on the date of your pet’s surgery are as follows: You may arrive early however please be patient in waiting.

Dogs 8:30am

Cats 9:00am

Wait List 9:15am

You will leave your pet and pick it up later the same day between 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm

Please make sure your dogs are leashed and your cats are crated (1 per crate).

* Your pet must be friendly and manageable. Trapped, feral, and aggressive animals will be refused due to liability

* Please encourage your pet to potty prior to your appointment if possible

* You need to expect to wait 30 minutes for your pet(s) to be checked in, examined, and cleared for surgery. Every mobile clinic is hectic, and sometimes we have unforeseen circumstances (staff issues, vehicle issues, traffic, weather), but for the most part, we work very hard to be prompt, efficient and professional.

   The Humane Society of NE GA in Gainesville or the Madison Olgethorpe Animal Shelter in Danielsville have low cost services for cryptorchid males and/or if your dog is over the weight limit. As well as if your female is in heat or pregnant.
