3rd Annual Scarcrow Spooktacular

+Keep Banks COUNTY Beautiful’s 3rd annual Scarecrow SPOOKTACULAR in  homer

Come to Veteran's  Memorial Park in Downtown Homer and set up a scarecrow that represents your business, club, hobby or family. If you have a business along Historic Hwy 441, feel free to put your scarecrow in front of your business. All scarecrows must include recycled or reused items along with wood and straw. Get creative and have fun. You can use props such as bales of hay, chairs, farm equipment or other items that tie into your scarecrow’s theme. Feel free to put up a sign letting everyone know that this is your scarecrow.  Look for information on how to make a scarecrow online .

While you are setting up your scarecrow your children can have their faces painted, get Fair Hair done, see Smokey the Bear and make animal footprints & Home Depot will be there to help your children create a project that they can take home or they can bounce in a bounce house. Food and drinks will be provided by various churches and groups. Free books will be provided by the Banks County Library. Come have fun while helping continue a fun Homer tradition.
